Avoiding the Dumpster Fire

The investment industry likes to make things sound complicated, but it is often not. The Federal Reserve is now tightening financial conditions at a faster pace and draining liquidity INTO an economic slowdown. The projected pivot away from higher interest rates didn’t happen, and investors must adjust.

In this week’s stock market update, we review the net long exposures of our investment strategies, the factors we are watching both over the short and long term, and what we need to see play out over the coming weeks to become more bullish. We will also review the significant concerns we have and how to assess the quality of a short cover rally as you manage your long and short positions.
