We've Entered a Bear Market, Now What?

As we reach the halfway point of 2022, investors have experienced six months of volatility and market declines. This week, the S&P 500 has officially entered a new bear market. We know that historically markets recover and give birth to new bull markets, but that doesn’t take away the pain and uncertainty we experience as we live through them. In this week’s update, we will review the history of past bear markets in the S&P 500 and strategies we can take as investors to position ourselves for the eventual recovery and take advantage of the next bull market.
